Anybody who did fingerprints from Calgary?
does RCMP everywhere do Fingerprints ?

My husband went to the Commissionaires who then forwarded them to the RCMP. They told him it could take 3 weeks for IRCC to get the results.

They don't need it. They didn't even ask me for it at the ceremony. You will need need it in the future in order to receive old age benefits, retirement.
Please bring your PR card and 2 pieces of ID.

I do see dates for oath ceremonies but no progress in the forum. Wondering what the heck is going on.

I would make a thousand fake profiles and hit the like button on this appeal a thousand times if it would make the Montreal office wake up from whatever deep hibernation they have gone into.

One question that worrying me regarding filling the citizenship application for adult, if there is no changes in the name ever, question 5: the table shouldn't be filled and keep it empty, is that correct?

In how many days you received the fingerprint request, email or in mail? I haven’t received it yet but on ECAS its showing they have requested something

Friends I am still waiting for test invite. I got fingerprinting done on December 31. RCMP Ottawa confirmed that they sent the FP report to IRCC on January 4. And then earlier this week I called IRCC and they confirmed that they have received the FP report, background checks have been completed, and I should wait for the test invite. I am based in Surrey/Vancouver. Seems like I didn't get invited for March 26 test as some other Vancouver applicants. Let's hope I am included in the next iteration.

does ECAS update with any new lines when one receives oath email? like there's an update on ECAS after a test invite email, that you are to appear for a test.

just curious and waiting for oath!

Apparently I was invited for a special citizenship ceremony according to my Oath Letter. not sure what that means lol but my letter said event will take about 3hrs.

Oh wow congrats! Thanks for the info. Do you mind saying when and where the special oath ceremony will be?
