Hello guys,

Any idea how to link mycic to my application? i have been trying since my application but i keep getting the message ... "application not found". i got my aor1 with F application number last week and still same problem. Same problem on ecas which i understand considering it is not real time.
While linking my account do i query using my spouse's details or mine?

any help appreciated.

I had the same problem till my husband told me he got an email with a uci # and an application #. I then went to ecas and tried logging in with the application # and my details. Try it. I hope it works

I sent in my application on Sept 15th. It was received sept 16th. I was able to link my application on Sept 26th on cic. My application status has been "opened" since then. The only change has been the application number changing from XF to F. On ecas, it's been about a week and a half since I was able to access my application on there. My application is "in process". How long should I wait to see a change? I'm getting anxious. Should I call the call centre to see what's going on?

Everything seems normal. When did the X change to a F? You should expect to get SA roughly 2-3 weeks after that!

No worries! Take a look at the spreadsheet for September applicants (my signature) and you'll see the average time for each step. You can add yourself to the spreadsheet as well if you want.. You can use October 13th as your AOR1 (when your number changed from XF to F), CIC has been known to send official AOR by email late, or sometimes never. From the date on the spreadsheet, you should be getting SA very soon, average is 10 days after AOR.

The same happened to me today. My medical is passed and my application number starts with an F now. I put it on the spreadsheet as AOR.

When do you find out where they sending the application to? With the SA?

Congrats!!

Just checked, and my number also changed from a XF to a F!! And Review of Medical results also changed to Passed. So excited to see some movement!!

Now, is it safe to assume that the application won't be returned at this point? And also, does the update on the medical results mean they won't ask for another one? We did the medicals in March 2016 and were worried that they were going to expire before CIC looked at them...?

It means that the one you submitted is valid. If your visa office does not process your file by March or you do not get visa by March, they will ask for re-medical at that time.

you can directly put it on spreadsheet. that's what i did

It's not an AOR yet. AOR is when you get email from CIC with UCI number, I think.

I guess it works out the same cuz in my situation. My sponsored husband got the email. I didn't. You should be able to log in with your application number, your last name, date of birth and place of birth. As to why you can't access mycic, I'm not sure...
