Sorry if my info is wrong. I sent the application in July and didn't hear anything that it was received until Sept. 26 and that is what it states on my ECAS.They sent me an email last week asking for my honorable discharge and I sent it to my husband via email since he is in Canada ( THE MAIL IS SLOW) I am so excited!

Does anyone know if they always request Passports? I am traveling to Canada in May. I plan on returning and waiting in June in Canada.

Also I am still trying to figure out importing my car and I know I have to export then import but I am trying to see if it outweighs buying a new car there. Any one else muling over the idea?

Sounds fantastic! .. I am very happy for you!!! :)

Visa Exempt individuals usually just have to email a scanned copy of their Passport.

I was going to export / import until my car died.. lol.. Here are some links I had saved

Greetings September Applicants,

So I haven't been keeping track of my wives application since starting of March, but today I went on the CIC site to see if there was an update and I found this

Permanent Residence
1. We received your application for permanent residence on September 2, 2014.

2. We started processing your application on April 22, 2015.

3. Medical results have been received.

4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

What does that mean exactly? Is the decision going to end up in a 'YES' or 'NO' answer?

Or am I thinking too much into this? I don't know why I am so nervous about it. Let me know if any of you came across this statement before.

Which office is handling your application?

Either way if you didn't get any document requests from them, then DM is great and you should be getting a PPR soon or the COPR in the mail.

Congrats!

Then that's great news..expect the COPR in the mail.

It means they're working on September, a lot of the folks on here are waiting and they're middle to late September...I'm glad to see that.

Thanks you guys! Have my fingers crossed here :)

Also I have updated the spreadsheet. I don't have the exact date for the medical exam, but I remember she got it done in June 2014.

Nope - I am still waiting. My ECAS says "Application Received / Medicals Received"

Ours still just says "Application Received" too. I didn't realize until yesterday that my wife could check her status using the Application number. We've always just used my UCI number all this time, doh! Anyhow it still say's the exact same thing as mine, "Application Received"..

Soon Maria soon! I've been hoping to see you post DM or IP as we've approach the end of the month so you can be free of this for your anniversary next month. Sending positive thoughts your way for a DM by the end of the week 8) Our one year married is in June, and to be done with this and have PR would be awesome for sure! ;D

That is what I am hoping for! >.< ... We want to see at least IP by our 1 year anniversary! ... Ohhh so close! .... I think we are almost there. I have seen a lot of movement in Ottawa lately and it has kept my hopes up!... I hope everyone hears something soon!...
