If you have SA that is basically an AOR because they won't give you an SA with out receiving your application :). Now if you are asking about Ottawa AORs. I haven't heard a word from them. I applied 9/10. We got SA in October and then radio silence. I am hopeful one day my COPR will just show up in the mail :)

Yes Ottawa AOR sorry I should have clarified. I was looking and July applicants are still waiting! This makes me nervous. I thought I would have it by June. I have returned to the States found a nursing job and will stay here until COPR.

Silly question, but: What's the difference between Decision Made and PR Approved on the spreadsheet?

I think it means the time between you get your passport request (decision made) and landing (Getting a PR)? that's just a guess

They have made a decision on the file. Pr means they have received confirmation that they have been excepted to become a PR in Canada .

Landed today. The whole process only took about half an hour. Having the B4 (goods accompanying) and B4a (goods to follow) lists prepared definitely helped speed things up and was really appreciated by the customs officer.

Super excited to no longer be restricted by immigration laws and have the ability to actually build our life in Canada now.

Good luck and speedy processing to everyone who's still waiting.

Have you received AOR? If so, there is a UCI number associated with the receipt of application you received via email or snail mail. Upper left corner, use this number to check your status in ECAS here:

Took me awhile to find the thread and posting to put in back on the first page

Hello September Folks :)

Well not much longer and it will be March already.. Still silence for us as far as CIC goes just like many here too.. We mailed off the documents to extend my wife's stay as a visitor which was received Feb 4. Her six months is up on March 13 and we are sure hoping and praying that the extension for another six months will be granted, as there really is no where for her to go back in the States. I have a week of work to go and then we are supposed to be getting laid off for at least two weeks or maybe a bit more. I'm really looking forward to a bit of time off I must say as I'm feeling very frazzled with work and everything and really need the rest and peace.. That's our story for now :)
