I checked my physical mailbox today (which I don't do every day) and had an SA letter waiting for me there! It's dated Oct. 29, which is what I put in the spreadsheet (although it's not letting me change the color for my entire row for some reason). It's strange that they didn't use email, but anyway I'm not complaining : )

Grats!!!!!

Congrats to everyone who received SA this last work week :) We were hopeful too but maybe this next new week will be the one? Sitting at day 45 right now so there should be some news soon we hope 8)

Interesting that some even with an email provided received their SA info by old school mail, guess you never know with CIC :-\

Wow that is not very fair, two whole months not knowing anything. Sorry to hear that and lets hope this new work week coming up will bring good news your way finally 8) Is there anyway you can get hold of someone at CIC to see what's up?

Right with you here... Sitting at 44 days myself, a day behind you. Will definitely be watching my email like a hawk this week! I see your preferred VO is Ottawa also -- are you sponsoring an American? (I am a Canadian citizen sponsoring an American common-law wife.)

I have called cic multiple times. The last time was Wednesday and she said there's nothing going on, I just have to wait even though we're way past the processing times now. :(

So yesterday I still could not log in to ESCA to check on my application status, but today I could finally log in. And it says my application is in Process! Fingers crossed for a quick processing time. Except instead of my application being sent to Sydney Australia for processing, like I selected, my SA letter said this-

"You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent
Residence for your relative(s) has been retained for further processing at CPC Mississauga."

I'm going to give them a call on Monday to make sure they haven't confused my application for an inland one since they get processed in Mississauga.

Mine has been "processing" also - I don't think we will see anything until we get COPR.

Good luck :)

You should update that in the spreadsheet MariaC819. What date did it change to processing? And did yours stay in Mississauga or get sent to Ottawa? I've seen some very fast processing through the Ottawa visa office. Hopefully yours will be too! ;D

Ops! I was thinking SA! My SA is now . Yeah no my PR is still application received. Mine was sent to Ottawa. I don't expect to see anything this year! But I can hope :-).

Hi september applicants, i'm a november applicant and i'd like to ask for some advice. The application was received november 7th(tracking by xpresspost) i'm the applicant and my sponsor is my husband, we got marry here in Canada a few weeks ago. I'm here with visitor's visa that expires december 31Th so i applied already for an extension.

The thing is that i'm concerned that i just read that the communication after SA is with the applicant and not with the sponsor, i did not provide an email and i put that my residence was in mexico, as i was not sure i was going to apply for the extension, or that the extension was going to be granded or not. So i put my residence in mexico. The problem is that how am i going to be able to check when they send me a mail if i won't be home.

No one else from my family has the keys of my house so i'm very concerned about this. I can't change my adress in the link provided by the cic because we haven't receive SA and when i go to my country's website to see how can i change it when it reach VO, it does not give me any details. Is very confussing.

When do you think is a good time for my husband to call CIC to change my adress and give them my e-mail before SA? Do you think they will think of missrepresentation if i did not put i was living with my husband(since september when i entered canada) but i put i was visiting him tho. Thanks a lot.

After your sponsor gets SA (They will be notified not you). Then you can call CIC and change your PR mailing address to where ever you want your mail to go.

hello Annaj
I wanted to let you know that Mississauga also works on outland application so I think you should not worry. And I think they are quite fast as well.
But do you know why they choose you?

I didn't received SA yet, but today my ECAS shows application received on Sept 22, 2014. I don't understand how much more time for SA???
