September 2014 OUTLAND Applications

Aren't some forms the same for inland and outland? (By the way, I am October outland applicant and I got AOR about 3 weeks after my application was received by CIC) CIC agent told me today that my application is being marked as inland. So, she will email Mississauga and somebody will contact either my sponsor or me to get it straightened out.


I was just asking that question on Oct 2014 Outland board.

I was actually filling out inland application before I decided to apply outland.
Since I was almost done with my inland application, I had IMM0008 and IMM1344 all filled out. So instead of downloading them from outland package link and fill out all over again, I made changes to IMM0008 and IMM1344 I downloaded from inland package.

Would that be the reason my outland application is being mistaken as inland? If it is then, I might have to withdraw this application and submit all over again. But I checked the form name and number, date that was last updated, number of pages and content and they were all the same.

I just called and luckily she gave me lots of information even though I'm not the sponsor. She said it's definitely outland. She confirmed my name and told me me phone number and address so I know she was looking at my application.
And she gave me a UCI # !!! Finally. The last 4 times we called they said we didn't have one.

Hi all, my husband and I sent application on Sep.17. but tracking has not been available until now. I contacted canadapost, but what they are saying is there's nothing they can't help without valid tracking number.. I am so nervous now..

Call cic and ask them, whether they received the app. or not?

You are back on the right track! Now I'm wondering how they differentiate outland applications from inland ones. The checklists for inland and outland look different though.

I've no clue... I could have swore application forms had different numbers but if not... at least for the sponsor part??
I'd look, I'm just terrible at navigating on my tablet -_- haha
I sent it to the Outland address as well. I didn't even realize there were different ones bc i just followed the guide for outland anyways..

Call cic and ask them, whether they received the app. or not?

I called CIC this morning , and he said I need to wait until they update the next processing time.
if my application is their hand, I will get a call/ email of SA, but if not, I should re-start everything again :-[

Update, this week I received an email from CIC Mississauga stating that they received my marriage licence but ended my marriage certificate.

Be aware that when you send a long form version of an ontario marriage certificate it may not be accepted and you will have to order and send in the short version.

I received my short version and have just emailed it off to CIC Miss.

Update, this week I received an email from CIC Mississauga stating that they received my marriage licence but ended my marriage certificate.

Be aware that when you send a long form version of an ontario marriage certificate it may not be accepted and you will have to order and send in the short version.

I received my short version and have just emailed it off to CIC Miss.

PF - I see on the spreadsheet that you went from SA to Process in 3 days. Was that from your ECAS? It changed to processing for your PR?

That's correct and at the same time a SA I received a request for another copy of my marriage certificate

I checked my physical mailbox today (which I don't do every day) and had an SA letter waiting for me there! It's dated Oct. 29, which is what I put in the spreadsheet (although it's not letting me change the color for my entire row for some reason). It's strange that they didn't use email, but anyway I'm not complaining : )
