Hello guys

Just called my lawyer about this. He said he almost got RPRF request for all the applicants which are left from Old CEC. He said that the email is authentic and the request is authentic as well. But he asked me to wait until the end of this day and than pay the fee.

i think everyone got so used to immigrations's slow pace and finding this a surprise
but it's our due month and it's supposed to be like this, no? lool

Yes how vulnerable we are!! I feel really sorry for us..

AOR received: Jan 2015
Medical request: not yet

I received the RPRF email too. I feel it's authentic since it says 'Admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose.'. Also it says 'The RPRF will be refunded if the application is refused, if you withdraw your application or if you choose not to use your visa.'

I strongly believe it's a genuine request and not a system error (except for people who got rejected previously) Still, if anyone has called CIC call center and received any more information, please post it here.

I just get today RPRF!

Anyway I have already EE PR approved last week, so I'll try to withdrawn this application, however I don't expect ame answer before 1 month, so Should I paid RPRF and later claim refund?

First CIC email since AOR on February 2015.
No MR received, I did it upfront for EE but I didn't send it to old CEC

I'm noticing that some of us are receiving RPRF Payment request today. So I called CIC to check that, they told me it could be a batch email that was sent out. Just reply back by attaching the proofs of receipt and you should be fine.

When I just hanged up that call, I got a call from Citizenship and Immigration Canada. He said he has some questions regarding the relationship and asked me series of ques like when I met my spouse, how long we knew each other, etc....Does anyone know how long it takes for them to make a decision after the call? I 'm waiting for PPR almost 9 months now.

Hi ,

I am sep 2014 applicant. Received RPRF mail today. I did upfront medicals.
My ECAS shoes 3 lines (3. Medicals received)

I haven't paid RPRF yet. I will pay it after 2 weeks.

I am currently in India on Vacation. I will go back on 01-Feb.
I will pay my RPRF fess after going back to Canada, as we have 30 days time from today.

My ECAS shows my Indian address ( It got updated when i applied for my TRV based on BOWP last month in India)
The RPRF mail i received today shows my Canadian address.

I will also send mail to CPC Ottawa to update my Indian address to Canadian address in ECAS after going back to Canada

I just got off the phone with CiC, they confirmed this email was sent due to an erroron their side. Application is following its due course, no updates!

CiC played a prank with us all today
