Application rcvd : sep 19 2014
Draft Charged : Dec 02 2014
Aor : feb 02 2015

Spouse additon frwded : May 29 2015

Draft Charged for additon : June 25 2015

Only Que how long does it take to reply back on spouse additon?.

Since everyone from september are still having initial screening (as per GCMS notes). what are the chances of my application being delayed??

Hi,

For me, it took 10 business days for a reply from CIC about successful addition of spouse to PR application.

One of the notes in GCMS notes says "file sent for officer review". And that's about 2 months old.

I just got my GCMS notes and I'm not sure what some things mean.
1. Under criminality the status is in progress. However it says attachments:0 Criminality history:0
Police certificate:0 I'm not sure what this really means as I submitted 4 police certificates from the previous countries I've lived in.

2. Schedule 8 it says Work in Canada: no. At the time of application I had 1 year work experience. I went ahead and looked at the schedule 8 form and where it asked if I had previously worked in Canada I ticked NO.

1. They have physical copies of your PCCs. If they need anything you'll receive an email.

2. I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks Zareef for such a quick reply. Logically I know I shouldn't worry about part 2 of my question because if I didn't meet the 1 year work experience requirement they would have returned my application

Exactly. That's the worst case scenario and you've made it past that stage.

i checked my online status on ECAS and its showing application received on 5 Sept,2014 "In Process" since i got my AOR.

I have not yet received email regarding MR or anything etc.

Please advise if any action i can take. I also noticed on the forum that most of people did their MR upfront but i am still waiting for CIC request for MR. is it good to wait?

Upfront is always a good option . It will save some time..

I had the same experience. I received no response after I paid the fee. I did send an email a week later requesting what the status was, and CPC-Ottawa replied that my wife has been added to my application and it is pending review by an officer.

I had used the AOR to apply for a BOWP in mid april 2015. but yet to receive the renewed permit. Is anyone in a similar situation or would know when i would receive it? Current work permit expires in end of July 2015.

Also, i've received an EE invite, should i re-apply under EE? This would mean another round of fees i've to pay as well, but would there be any harm in having two concurrent applications?

I also applied for BOWP, on 22nd April! Current processing times are close to 90 days. Expecting approval in the next couple of weeks with a bit of luck. There is a thread slightly further down with a few people who applied in the first couple weeks of April that are getting approved. Just hold tight.

As long as you don't think there are any issues with your application from last Sept, I would hold off on the EE! Just be patient. Once we get MR's, I would imagine the approval should be reasonably quick.

Hello! I also applied for BOWP on April 13. I received an email update on June 23 but no change is showing up when I log in to my account. My husband and my work permit are also going to expire end of July, so am a totally worrying.
BTW, you mentioned that you got an EE invite. I am thinking of trying EE as back up. Should I have a job offer? But, current offer/ work permit is expiring soon. Should I really submit a job offer with new LMIA? Thank you in advance.
