Hi All!

Being in same situatuon like every one on this sep thread...what u guys suggest applying spouse dependent work permit make sense or to wait for this CEC sep application in process.
Also proccessing time for work permit outside canda is almost 3 months which would take upto Oct 2015 for conclusion.
Atleast we could expect MR/decision before Oct.

Seems both confusing what to do??

I am from one of countries that requires Canadian visa to enter to Canada. I know international students can re-enter to Canada with their study permit only, but I am not sure if this also applies to BOWP holders.

Yes, you can enter Canada from USA with BOWP only. But you have to enter by LAND. If you are entering by air, TRV is required for all cases.

I applied under CEC in sept2014, after AOR i haven't get request for MR. In my case i got approval from PNP as well and it will expiry in Aug,2015.

Please advise, can i submit my PNP application to federal as well? what is the procedure to withdraw the PNP application if i get PR from CEC ?

Hi Guys,
I applied in mid-September and got my AOR at end of Jan, 2015. I have been hoping to receive my MR request but since then I have not received any update from CIC.

I requested for GCMS notes last month and I received it in July. In the notes (at the end of the document) it does not says nothing except for:

Text: Name on the Application changed: Old Values(s): <My Name, DOB, City, Country> New Values(s):<My Name, DOB, City, State, Country>

They just amended the state to New Value. This does not tell me anything if my application is blocked or anything like that.

I scrolled a couple of pages to go to the "Activity" section and see that:

So with all this I am really not sure what is going on.

Hi...I have done my upfront medical on 17th May 2015, sent one mail to CPC on 19th May informing the same. But still no update in the status. Got no reply to the mail also. It has been 2 months now.Any advise please?

For upfront medical exam, do I have to mail the receipt?

I only sent an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca with a scanned copy of the receipt attached which has the UMI (Unique Medical Identifier).

If I have to mail it, which address should I mail to?

Basically saying that nothing have started yet - they haven't touched your file, which is not really surprising since majority of august applicants still haven't received MRs.

What was the reason you ordered notes anyway? It just seems like a unnecessary additional workload for CIC right now...

Hi AK84:
I share almost the same timeline and condition with you. I ain't any expert but I found "you may only have one application to PR at one time". My understanding is to apply PR with PNP letter, one has to submit everything with it, including police cerificate, personal history etc etc.
Apprently these things were already submitted to CIC with CEC application.
Therefore I think the way to apply with PNP is either got rejected from CEC, or withdraw from CEC. I ain't expert so if some SME could confirm/clarify my findings would be the most helpful.
Perhaps also consider to apply for an extension to the PNP nomination expiry, if such extension has any chance to be granted?
