I'm in the same boat as you BlessedSherry... from the UK, so as far as I know I'm just waiting for the magic "decision made" or a COPR to show up in my mailbox!

Some people have reported an ecas status of 'In Progress' even after landing. It cannot be trusted 100% most of the times. Hang in tight. I am sure you will have some good news soon :)

Thank you. I hope to be pleasantly surprised with a letter one of these days :)

Hey guys is it weird that I have done medical and paid the RPRF. Medical done on March 2. But my ecas still has 2 lines.
We received your application for permanent residence on September 22, 2014.

We started processing your application on February 3, 2015.

Did you do an e-medical? You need to call up your physician and confirm if they have submitted the results to cic.

Hello All,

Finally I did my PR landing at Rainbow bridge yesterday and it was very straight forward and simple but had to wait 2 hrs (nothing compared with 18 months :) ) to meet officer. Probably I am the first person who did PR landing from our September thread. I am so happy for all our old applicants are going to end PR process journey and all the best everyone. I hope you all will be landed very soon :)

About me, Initially I have no idea on how to apply for PR and was struggling on how to present the gap which I had in between my education and work. I have contacted immigration consultants but all ended with big quotes with minimum of 2000$. Then got all answers for my questions after I have registered on this forum and then decided to go on my own.

So many applicants were shared valuable information and helped me a lot on forum. Thanks each and everyone. Especially I have to thank heart fully 3 persons - Jes_ON, Srihari Ram and Zareef. Without these people I would not have submitted my application on time before cap is reached.

I still remember I did send personal messages continuously with my questions (now I feel some were stupid questions) to Jes_ON for 10 days. But jes_ON has replied with proper answers and guided me a lot. Thank you Jes_ON for your prompt help :)

Srihari Ram helped me a lot filling the application and very supportive. Thank you Srihari Ram :)

My anna (bro) Zareef and myself, we both did application almost same time. We had couple of Skype sessions to fill application and very supportive :). Thank you Zareef :)

Good luck everyone! :) :) :) :) :)

Awww!
Finally! I'm so happy one of us has finally completed this long process.
You give hope to all of us who are still waiting.
Congratulations!

Congratulations Kiranmayi. Enjoy your life as a new PR of Canada :)

Hiya! Somebody from Nigeria (different thread on this forum) who had sent an email on Feb. 29, 2016 requesting a change of VO for his spouse got an email today. 17 days in all. For those of us who are in a similar situation, we should be hearing something pretty soon. Cheers!

Just got an email requesting, schedule A, travel history and a new police certificate.
Exactly one week after I got request for additional info...

I am sure that you will be getting a COPR soon. Did you submit a PCC when you had initially submitted your application?

Hello everybody, does any one here know if CIC could ask for extra documents after PPR? One of my PCC could have expired by now (> 1 year) and so I am worried that they might ask for a new PCC. Getting a PCC from my country is a painfully long process. Any advice from fellow applicants will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

No after PPR they won't ask anything. But before PPR they can ask for anything anytime.
