Dear colleagues,
I have received email from my Lawyer that she received file number for my application but she did not share that number till she get the second payment as per our agreement. Sure I'll do.
But she did not inform me whether this means PER or NER!
My question to you guys: An email with file number from CIC, is it a granted PER or it could be NER?
In other words:
In case of NER after DD being cashed, does CIC send an email with file number or not?

Application received: 11 Sep 2014
CC charged: 26 Nov 2014
PER: 02 Jan 2014

ECAS is showing only one line that application was received on 11 Sep 2014.

What is the next step?
How long to wait for it?

Hey.. well next step is MR. which normally is emailed from your VO after 45-60 days from your PER date. Also a week or a few days before your 2nd line will be updated!

I had enquired from bank. They said it is not showing pending in their DD list. The serial before mine DD and after it were pending. So i think its cleared and encashed.

I dont know if its sure or not. Can someone guide.

Hi All,
Quick help required. Please guide if possible.

My application for PR/FSW 2014 under NOC 2174 reached CIC Sydney on 11th SEP 2014 but till now I have not got any confirmation.
Nor my Credit card is charged till date.

I send enquiry mail to CIC with all details on 23 Dec 2014 but have not got any reply yet as well.

Did anyone of you get response for applications reached after 22sep under 2174?
SHOULD I GO AHEAD AND APPLY FOR EXPRESS ENTRY 2015 OR SHOULD I WAIT?

i believe all september applicants who pass the initial completeness check has been charged already....thats my presumption...im september 15 cc charged 30Nov... waiting for next step..

So if our applications eventually aren't approved shouldn't they return our documents already or send us an email informing us for their decision? How long should we wait for an answer?

hello guys,
i received my PER on 12th dec-2014. my ecas status still shows IN PROCESS. Its more than a month and iam still not sure whether the file has been transerred to NDVO.by the way what are the background checks that would be done . does that include the current employement check too.hope somebody provides information on this. Thanks
