Hi,

Today I got Medical request and Fees request..Also They are asking PCC from India which I sent already with my application.

Do I need to send PCC again? Now I am in India. Can I do medicals in India?

Congratulations!!

If your PCC has expired ,they will ask it again and you have to send it .You can do medicals from anywhere ,not a problem. http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx check this link from where u can do medicals in india .

Please send them your PCC if they have asked for it.

Hi sweethoj,

PCC is valid for one year as long as cic receive it before its expired.i don't think they should ask for it again.
you can email cpp-ottawa and explain to them.

Hi sweethoj, I believe you should follow Katty's advise. You should work on getting PCC in parallel, even if you want to check with CPP-Ottawa about it.

Is PCC Acceptable if I get it from District Superintendent of Police office in India? because now I am in India from Sep 26th due to my family function..

Excerpt from CIC's website for PCC for India:

Local Requests

For districts other than the Punjab:
Applicants should contact the local Senior Superintendent of Police/ Superintendent of Police/ Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner of Police, the Additional Commissioner of Police, or the Station House Officer (Police clearance certificate issued by the Regional Passport Office are also acceptable.

For residents of the Punjab:
Only the Senior Superintendent of Police or the Regional Passport Office may sign a Police Clearance Certificate.

Non-Resident Requests
Applicants should contact the Indian embassy or consulate.
