My Ecas status was showing In-Process and is still showing as In-Process

The reason they have given , is that my previous work experience duties were not clear to them and they thought that it was not falling under the applied NOC category..

Hope that answers your question

All the Best with your application
Well thanks they do answer my question but they were not the expected answers, I'm afraid I'm in the same team as yours. Right now I'm outside Canada, I spent three weeka in my country but tomorrow I'll be back. I might be getting a not very encouraging mail.

Canadian Experience Class category has decreased thenrequirements from 24 months down to 12, which I'm about to reach.

I believe it is better to dump skilled worker and apply through cec. What do you guys think?

Hi Guys

Could you please let me know the email address the email will be coming from so that I and others can add it to the known Senders list rather than checking the spam everyday?

Thanks.

You don't need to withdraw your FSW application to apply under CEC. You can easily make it parallel.
Btw be optimistic about 8 months processing time.

Dear Seniors, please help me with this:

If I'm the main applicant for FSW and my husband has an arranged job offer, will this fasten my file processing time or add any points to my application ?

Thanks so much.

Hi friends,

@rhen ongsico
As I heard, currently the Manila office takes more time for processing than before March 2012.
Hope you get AOR soon. (hope for me too....Ottawa is giving the priority to CEC applicants and seems be still processing 2010 FSW applicants.)
Btw, your e-cas shows the second line?

@ds3010
I'm currently considering about applying under CEC if I get nothing before June 2013 from Ottawa.
I don't intend to withdraw my FSW application. If I'll get PR under FSW, my CEC application will come to nothing, but it's ok.

@dbss
My PER was sent from "Centralized-Intake-Office <Centralized-Intake-Office@cic.gc.ca>", and the subject is "Application for Permanent Residence in Canada".
Superfluous; more details about PER is probably shown a senior's website and this pic (If the image is too small, please click it so you can view the larger image.).

@homesickvn
According to CIC's application guide for immigration under FSW (MI5), if your husband completed a minimum of one year of full-time work in Canada on a valid work permit, you can get 5 points.

Correct me if I am wrong: CIC website says 8 months of total processing time in Ottawa. Should I expect my PR in the month of April-May?
I really hope so, but it might take more time because that means not "8 months" but "at least 8 months" (though nobody hope so :(

Hi everyone,

I applied my application last oct. 01 2012 and got my application back last november 28 because i didn't include my birth certificate on my application. My consultant received the returned application and she sent it back to CIO office with my birth certificate already and they received it last dec 03. I was applying an arranged employment with substitute evaluation because i only got 63 points. Till now i didn't get any feedback from them, im always checking my credit card but there's no charge yet. As per my consultant the challenge and the additional delay will be caused by the fact that i didn't have enough points to meet the requirements and i had to request the substitute evaluation that must be approved by the visa officer and the program manager. Do you have any idea how many weeks or months they will give me a feedback with my application since i applied an arranged employment with substitute evaluation be it approved or refused?Im hoping that i will have a positive feedback with my application.

Thank you much.

Hi

I visited the senior's website and the email address given there is from "FSW-Centralized_Intake-Office@cic.gc.ca" whereas the email address you mentioned and is mentioned in the snapshot is "Centralized-Intake-Office @ cic.gc.ca". Now I am wondering which is right and which is wrong.

If you could please let me know, I would appreciate the effort.

Thanks.

Your husband's arranged employment would have no impact on your application as you are the main applicant. You might be able to get points for his study and language proficiency etc though.

Hi,

I checked my AOR and am sure that it was sent from <Centralized-Intake-Office@cic.gc.ca>. However, I found there are many seniors who received their AOR from <FSW-Centralized-Intake-Office @ cic.gc.ca>. They received AOR 2009-2011. It seems that since November 2011, it's sent from <Centralized-Intake-Office@cic.gc.ca>.

I think that the better way is adding those two e-mail addresses to your known Senders list. They are both correct.

@gpranav
Thanks for your help! :)
