it has been 15 days for PER receipt (Email). and i havn't got mail (PER) yet.

don't worry you would get it. My CC was charged in dec 2012 and yet not received the PER . I am hoping to receive it this month as all the application submitted in dec are delayed by some days if you see other forums on the average processing time in the month of dec to feb.

CIC explained that "Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) calculates processing times from the day CIC receives an application to the day it makes a decision on the application.". PER	:	Positive Eligibility Review - An email which shows your file number and so on. It will be sent from CIO if your application passes the initial eligibility review. See the other thread titled "What is PER", a senior's website or this pic for more details.
AOR	:	Acknowledgment of Receipt - An email which informs that your full documents have been received by visa office and has been put in queue for processing. Sometimes this is called "2nd AOR" or "Waiting letter" ; In this case, "1st AOR" means "PER". See the other thread titled "what is 2nd AOR" for more details. MR	:	Medical Request - An email (or a regular mail) that requests you to take medical exams. It might be included in the Initial Assessment.
PPR	:	Passport Request or Confirmation of Permanent Residence - An email (or a regular mail) that requests you to send VO your passport. If you are a citizen of the countries or territories listed in CIC website, you probably receive a "Passport Request". If you are from the visitor visa exemptions country, you maybe receive a "Confirmation of Permanent Residence" instead of passport request and then you can go landing immediately.

According to our table, most of our friends got the PER within a week after their payment was taken, but one of our friends got the PER 21 days after his/her CC was charged.

It maybe depends on time/season so I think you can wait for more 1-2 week(s).

Hi,

NO EVIDENCE, here is just in my poor opinion, I'm afraid... but;

(1)
I've heard some rumors that each visa office has the limit of applications they can process in each year.
If those rumors are true, every visa offices maybe have reached their limit in the first half of each year, they must stop reviewing new files after that, and then we would feel the process became slow.
(However, as you know, our friends got 2nd AOR from New Delhi and Vienna on November and December. So I wouldn't like to believe those rumors.)

(2)
Many people including immigration lawyers and consultants had believed that new FSWP would start January 2013. Although CIC has stopped accepting previous "FSW1" category (= "In High Demand jobs"), many people probably have applied under current FSWP ahead of schedule, beyond visa office's capacity for applications.

(3)
Many people have probably chosen New Delhi office because we know that NDVO does processing very faster than other VO.

If New Delhi office stopped sending AOR in order to do processing much faster.


Btw, according to CIC website, NDVO's processing time is 13 months.
As I know from another thread, NDVO took 3-6 months to send MR to May 2012 applicants.
I wouldn't like to think that your process is slow.

I have to send one more document (Birth Certificate Affidavit) to CIC. So should I wait for AOR from my VO and then send it or should I send it right now. Because according to some people, Vienna VO didn't send AOR and they received directly medical request. I am not sure about New Delhi VO.
Any suggestion?

Yes, you definetely are. Another person and I in this forum have applied exactly the same way and everythin seems to go well, no need for LMO. You can as well wait until you have one year in the company and apply through canadian experience class program.me job offer.
