Congrats Graham!
Thanks :)

I don't imagine I'll have time this week, since we fly out on Friday. But I spoke to the one in Scotland, where we're visiting, and they can see us on Tuesday. Sounds like they're very good and very quick. Time to get booked in!

Graham.

Btw, I paid my RPRF when I submitted the application. I was advised by the lawyers my company used to create an extra box to pay this on the sheet. They took this and on my GCMS notes, it's noted as being paid. Should I contact them, referencing the e-mail and stating this?

I happened to get two missed calls (I was in a meeting) within a few mins after the e-mails came out. I couldn't answer either and my voicemail wasn't set up, doh! I'm wondering if it was CIC, potentially telling me I didn't need to pay the RPRF, despite the e-mail? They do have my house phone as an alternative number, which has voicemail setup, so perhaps I'll see if they called there and left a message, when I'm home.

What do you think is the best way to proceed regarding that, if no voicemail?

One other question, the medical instructions state:
Four recent photographs (photos are not required if the panel physician is listed as “eMedical
enabled” on the CIC website listed above)

None of the physicians on the website list eMedical enabled, but I know most of them are. I assume it doesn't have to state it on the website? i.e. as long as I know they are using eMedical, then I don't need photos?

Thanks,

Graham.

Anybody know for sure on what we're best doing with the RPRF fee, since it's already paid? I'm assuming it was just a generic email, but maybe worth a case specific email?

Seems like it's no bother doing the medical in another of, as long as they're on the list . This one uses emedical too.

Thanks,

Graham

Maybe just reply the RPRF email tell them RPRF has been paid and attach the receipt.

I reply the RPRF email to OttPilot-Immigration @ cic.gc.ca and attach the receipt and around 2 weeks later get replied said:

Dear client,

We thank you for sending your RPRF payment.

Your file has been updated to reflect receipt of your payment.

We will communicate with you to advice of any further action or documents required.

Regards,

I had actually replied 15/20mins ago just letting them know, and asking if they needed me to do anything. Unfortunately I didn't attach anything (didn't think of that!), but I did let them know the case notes show they have it as well. Will hopefully get a reply in the not too distant future stating they have it.

Thanks again,

Graham.

So I called the CIC call center again today and they told me they received my medical information as well as the RPRF receipt already. My status on eCAS still hasn't been updated with the elusive third line but I was told that my file is in progress and I shall be getting the request for Passport soon enough.

I highly doubt the missed calls were from CIC : you have been in Canada for over a year and you should know better about those government workers, especially when it comes to the ones working for CIC -- it would be barely possible for them to call you not to pay twice, and a miracle if they did it again after the first failed attempt.

You can just call that number and see what it is... probably just some tele-marketers

Haha, probably very true!

I've sent them a case specific e-mail about it :)

Graham.
