Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if from the people on this forum (and specially the ottawa applicants), there is someone like me who applied as an LMO exempt. For example, I have a post graduation work permit and I do not need LMO to apply through FSW. I think Jibinseb is one of the people I am looking for. Anyone else?

Mine was LMO exempt (intra-company transfer). I still applied through the FSW2 route, and gave them copies of my passport and work permit.

I have applied in LMO exempt category . I have a post graduation work permit and i applied under FSW2 becz it was the fastest then 8 months was what the time line was .Then every thing got delayed.

Thanks to all of your responses, I would like to have a list of totals. I was trying to understand why I have not yet seen the second line in my ecas status.

It’s hard to predict, nonetheless there is a trend, where applicants b/w Jan-Apr been proceeds. Hopefully you should get it soon

Dose any one has a trend on how many days dose it take to get the medical email ?
and also do the cic calls all the employers or the one who just are a spooky case?

Stat holidays are 24, 25,26 and Jan 01. But most people will take other days off.
So do not expect much progress from 24 Dec to Jan 06.

Iam not sure on 24th Christmas Eve, Indeed CIC is closed 25-26 and 1st Jan 2013. I guess staff is working on other days probably less than full. I won't be surprise applicants getting the updates/ status changes during this holiday season.

According to timelines, the range 6 – 10 business days for receiving E-mail from CIC for medical request. Now not all candidates receive call from CIC to his/her employer, I have read in this forum few have received a call from CIC

Thank you Sreenath. If it's two month before CC is charged and PER email is received then it gotta be sometime in second week of Jan for me. If i receive before then my luck. Thank you again for all your help.
