Good morning. Can you please add me to your list?

Application sent in Feb 27/12 CIC received March 1/12, returned to me June 23/12 and resubmitted Sept 14th.
CIC received it Sept 19th.
Medicals done: Sept 7/12
Visa Office: Kingston, Jamaica

I didnt think that I had to go back in the line to wait as they sent me a label with an officer's name on it when I returned it, but CIC informed me today that yes I go back in line and have to wait. So I will have to join in the line again. Thank you.

awwww chickie72 that sucks.....hopefully the agent you talked to is wrong.....we all know if you phone back you will probably get a different answer...here's hoping you get a nice surprise....you deserve it for perserverance alone!!

I had his son listed on the wrong paper, I didn't have him as an additional dependant, i just had him as a family member. Medicals were not done either.

^i've read someone here also didn't have medicals. Theirs was not returned. Too bad you have to start again. Ours was just delivered yeterday and i feel so worried of it being returned too. I guess i'm being paranoid now.

no worries Rosey_L.....everyone does the paranoria thing when they mail off the package....especially the first few days.....do not worry you are not alone in this!!!!

I think out of the whole of the February spreadsheet 2 of us got our apps returned so no worries, if you did everything right then you shouldn't have a problem, even missing 1 thing doesn't seem to be a problem but mine was missing more then 1 thing and I had the wrong info on one page so I can see why they sent it back.

Me and my wife had a 2.5 year relationship before getting married (In canada and in bangladesh) among which a year and a half was long distance. after we got married we decided to stay together in bangladesh for a year and then apply thinking that this would work in our favor to make our relationship easy to prove. was it a good step to take?

also my medical is already six month old, so i believe there is only six months left. is this gonna be any problem? is it gonna be resent to us?

Hi, my documentation also returned even I exactly followed instructions. My visa office website said that for Mississauga applications, please pay in Bank draft, money order or certified cheque, which I did. They returned my case saying you had to pay online. Why I have to pay for their mismatching info on websites.

So, no worries, many things happening at CPC-M is not logical. Just try to have a patience and wait for their decisions.

After you make 10 posts, which you have you can go into your profile and put all the information in so it shows and everyone can see your timeline. As for being a good step, at least it shows you have a good relationship so I would think yes....as for your medical, if it comes close to being expired, you can apply for an extension on it ( i read that on another post somewhere but I know the link went to the CIC website showing u how to apply for the extension)

Hi, what I know you should refer to the sponsor guide at CIC website and not your visa office website for the payment. And there is this note: The only acceptable forms of payment are on-line or through a financial institution in Canada. If you send any other form of payment your application will be returned.
