Hello everyone,

Our kids are added as (dependents) to my wife's passport.

Is it required to issue separate passports for each of them BEFORE submitting an application for a provincial nomination program (PNP)?

Or would it work to state in the application that they're added to their mother's passport as dependent children and state their mother's passport number form (IMM 0008) under each child's details?

Thanks a lot!

It would be warmly welcomed if anyone shed some light into this?

Many thanks!

Definitely they will ask but when you are at the stage of applying pnp and dont have passports hence go ahead and apply. you dont have choice.

I thought countries stopped adding kids names in parents passports anymore. For any international travel, one needs passport irrelevant of age, at least for most countries. start applying for passport.

2. I dont think they will accept but try for it to see what happens. By that time they verify your application you would have the passports hence you can update it later. Some pnp accept taking this kind of additional detail later, depending on the officer.

Yup, that is sensible. Thanks a lot Hariraj Mohan :-)
