Sent wrong size visa photos

Hello Everyone,

We just reaized today that after submiting our application three days ago the photos we used were standard passport size photos and not 50x70 size photos. I didnt even think about the size, as I thought all important photos were the same passport sizes.

My family all took new photos today with the correct 50x70 size photos, my question are these:

Will CIC return my application because of the wrong size photos? Or will the request that we send new correct size ones?

Can I speed up this process and send them overnight with a letter explaining we were confused about photo size?

We just dont want to delay our application anymore than it has to. I am crossing my fingers that this doesn't get my application sent back to me.

You only recently sent your sponsorship application package a few days ago, will suggest that you send the correct PR photo(s) to IRCC.

Include a note to explain and a copy of the receipt of your application fee payment for IRCC reference. Also, you may send the photos with a courier that has a tracking number for your reference.

IRCC usually sends Acknowledgement of Receipt of new applications within 6 to 8 weeks of receipt.
