I contacted my VO in Port of Spain Trinidad requesting an update on my application (Federal Entrepreneur) based on the fact that I had submitted some requested documents to them in August 2012 and have not heard anything since, not even a confirmation of receipt of these additional documents.
They replied (quite efficiently I might add) saying "we can confirm that we did infact receive your documents which were attached to your file and sent to an officer to review".
My question is how long does it normally take for the officer to review the file? Is there normally a que of files for the officer to go through? What would be a resonable time frame to expect before hearing from them again?
It has been 6 months since we submitted the additional docs and when I got my last GCMS notes dated Feb 11th 2013, the last change on the file was a note that they received the documents and that the file was sent to an officer for review. What is even more concerning is that even on these updated GMCS notes, the Due Date still says June of last year.
Appreciate any thoughts.
