1. I received offer letter from 3 unis of Canada for MBA and applied for visa based on the offer of the uni in Ontario province (other two are in different provinces)
2. If visa gets approved (to study a uni in Ontario province), at the port of entry to Canada can i ask the visa offier that i want to change the University and thus to study mba in another uni in New brunswick instead of the Ontario-one?
3. if i get temporary residence visa (TRV) for study in the university situted in Ontario province, the study permit is supposed to be issued at the port of entry. that's ok. but, what if i dont go for studying at all. what should i do? should i ask embassy again to cancel the temporary visa? ...
4. if i don't ask embassy to cancel the visa.... and later after (withing the validiy of the visa), i want to visit canada using the same TRV... while telling the VO at port of entry about the whole issues and telling the purpose of the entry is not to study instead to visit only (though the TRV as issued for study). is that ok?
5. if i don't ask embassy to cancel the visa.... can i apply for visit visa for canada later after (before expiring the date of entry mentioned in PREVIOUS TRV?)

the reason of asking all these questions are based on the fact if a person gets studen visa and subsequently (after few months before flying to canada) gets his application for FSWP start processing. coz if FSWP starts gets processed, there is no point of spending money on MBA for getting PR.

Thanks in advance for your valudable comments.

regards,

2. No need to tell him about your plan to change university.
3. If you don't go to university at all. It is possible that university will call the CIC and they will cancel your permit right away.
So be clear about your intention.
4.Yes if they checked that you never attended university in past. They might send you back. They have access to all information.
5.Yes you can apply for visitor visa within Canada. But rejection rate will be high because in past they issued you study permit and you just wasted it.

I will suggest you to go for MBA. Whether you get PR in FSW, but still that MBA degree will help you in getting good paying job.

Degree help you in job not PR.

Good Luck.

thanks Aman for your kind information...

in fact, i believe my questions were not quite clear, so let me again ask clearly with more details and specifications, your valuable comments appreciable,

1. I received offer letter from 3 unis of Canada for MBA and applied for visa based on the offer of the uni in Ontario province (other two are in different provinces)

2. I got my visa to study a uni in Ontario province. at the port of entry to Canada can i ask the visa offier that i want to change the University and thus to study mba in another uni in New brunswick instead of the one in ontario on which i initially applied for visa?

you advised me no need to do that.... then, can you please tell me in details how to do that?

3. since i have received TVT already, the study permit is supposed to be issued at the port of entry. that's ok. but, what if i dont go to Canada at all (by cancelling the plan to study anymore). what should i do? should i ask embassy again to cancel the temporary visa? ...

4. if i don't ask embassy to cancel the visa, validity of which is Dec 2014 by which i need to enter Canada.... and later after (withing the validity of the visa), i want to VISIT/TRAVEL canada using the same TRV (honestly just to travel as a tourist, nothing else)... while telling the VO at port of entry about the whole issues and telling the purpose of the entry is not to study instead to visit only (though the TRV as issued for study). is that ok?

5. if i don't ask embassy to cancel the visa which is valid till Dec 2014.... can i apply for visit visa for canada later after before expiring the date of entry mentioned in PREVIOUS TRV which is Dec 2014?

6. the reason of asking all these questions are based on the fact I applied for Student Visa for MBA (ultimate to get PR) which has been approved for Sep 2013 intake.... i am yet to travel ...meanwhile, last week, i applied for Federal skilled immigration which i believe will take a year or slightly more to let me migrate to Canada... so, as my ultimate purpose is migration and that i can get through skilled migration thus i dont much reason to spend almost CAD 45,000 (tuition plus living) by studying there....

Thanks in advance for your valuable comments.

Thanks.

You can change the University, When you arrive here.
Just give the LOA to the University.
Then automatically your funds will be transferred to your desired University.

And i make it clear.
The TRV which is stamped on your passport is just for Single and double entry.
And you can only use it with any permit like Study or work permit. Which will be issued on the airport.
So TRV is useless. The real thing is given in the airport.

3. No need to cancel it. As it will be hard to get approval again.
But if in future you travel with that TRV, VO might ask you the reason for coming so late. So be prepared.

4. TRV was given for studies. If you tell them about your plans to use it for visiting. They might send you back.

5. Yes, you can apply for Visitor visa. But approval chances will be slim.

Just a advice.
I can understand that you want to save money.
But don't waste the study permit.
Who can 100 % ensure you about FSW success.

So think and choose wisely.

Good Luck.

Hi,
What we have not paid any fees, just initial acceptance deposit. Do we still need to inform them or just go with the new LOA to the new university ??
Can we directly arrive to the changed university port of entrance or we need to go first to the province of the university through which we got Visa in first place and then go to changed university ?

You have to go to the University through which you got visa.
Because you'll have to fill forms and sign them and show them your new LOA.
Can't do it online.
