Is there anyone here encountered "his/her application was forwarded to their origin but he/she is currently working in a different country? what did you do when the CEM asked for your passport? Do you really have to go back to your country and quit your job or is there any option?

Or is safe to send the passport through courrier...?

help please...........

My friend was working on a cruise ship when he got his PPR. He had to quit and fly back to the Philippines to submit his passport. There's no way he would have been able to work at sea without it. However maybe if you're land based and your employer is not holding it, you could get away with mailing it?

thanks for replying Steph

I was also thinking that CEM will hold my passport...

yes I'm on a land base.... :'(

Oh yeah... what if you had an interview. You would be stuck and couldn't fly back without the passport.

yes that is what I'm worrying about because I'm under conjugal
in my case most of them called for an interview huwow!!!
I guess I need to go home either....

thanks again Steph you've cleared my mind go home and quit my job
and stuck there waiting for the visa lol....

Maybe wait for an expert to answer.. not me! ;D

hahaha yeah of course.....
