:-[ Today my wife got some paperwork that wasn't filled out from the spousal part and an error on my part. She fixed the issues and sent it back out today back to Mississauga. So my question is, do we have to wait the 41 days or does it get special treatment since they have already started the process?

Has anybody had this happen to them and have any input?

Hi this thread shows how they process things;

Just got word from my wife that it goes back in the queue. That means that is 42 days of waiting for nothing!! :'( >:( :'( >:(

that's a lie ... in my case, CPC-M sent back the application package because we forgot to sign a few documents but the IO's initials and stamps were already on the approved/reviewed part of the application.

I think we had to send the package to a different receiving door and it went straight back to the IOs desk. Within a week or two it was approved and sent off to the VO for processing. E-cas too updated to Decision Made.

Same thing happened to us. I think it took less than a week to get approved.

Yes if they send it back to you for needing more proof, signatures, of just filling out a few things, they give your file a revisit date and if they figure all you will need to do what they asked and resend is two weeks thats what they give your file.A file never goes back into the new app que.

I have to expect the worst and hope and pray for the best. Which I am so hopping everyone is right since it was minor fixes. Thanks for your encouragement.

I first want to thank you confusednscared, mrsprogram, and iarblue. I truly wanted to believe you, but I had to hope for the best and expect the worst. Well today I believe! ;D 2 weeks later e-CAS shows they sent the letter 1 week after we sent the updated paperwork.
