Sending Correspondence/PCC in vegreville AB (Inland Applicaiton)

Hello guys,

I received an email today stating that i need to provide Police clearance certificate because they said

"As per our records, you have not submitted the required police certificates from the country(ies) listed
below:"

I don't know what's wrong or happening with CIC but i am 100 percent sure that i sent that PCC.

I was given this address below where to send it:

Case Processing Centre - Vegreville
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada
6212-55 Avenue Unit 909
Vegreville AB
T9C 1W7

My questions is, can i use fedex on this address? courier.

because it's not stated on the email if this address is for courier or regular mail/canada post.

Hi

They requested an Australian PCC from my partner even though we had included it. I replied back and stated that it had been included in the app and asked if they had lost it. I recieved a response within a few days that they actually did have it.

If you are sure you sent it, it might be worth a try to get them to have a second look.

Thank you for the info, But in my case my PCC is already expired when they received it, because it's only 3 months validity in my PCC certificate. Is that ok? But based on the info the police certificat now is not expiring right?

The validity on the PCC doesn't matter; CIC has different rules regarding the validity. Anyways, the email states that you didn't include it, not that it's expired.

I got the exact same notice for my wife, and we sent them the original + official translation. The letter came yesterday. We 100% put it with the materials we sent.

So I called the CIC's call centre to ask why they rejected it, so we could remedy that with the next one sent. They had no record of the email/letter at all. They asked for the date on it, they asked if the Vegreville office was listed. When I told them the date, and that yes that was the office we were told to send it to, they told me Vegreville is a pilot project to speed up the inland PR applications. They also put a trace on the documents, as they still were sitting in Mississauga. I was told not to do anything for a week and call back in for directions.

Do you mean you sent a PCC on that address and it returned back to you? did you use fedex?

You can XpressPost/FedEx to anything that isn't a P.O.Box. We sent our docs in originally by Purolator to CPC-Mississauga.
