Send FSW visa application. Whats next?

Dear forum members I send my application for FSW Category 2 visa to Sydney Nova Scotia.
I use DHL as currier service and about I week ago the package was received.
Now a week passed and I didn't received any mail from CIC.
Is this a standard procedure?

I don't know what's happening now. Do CIC contact candidates, or we should just wait for couple of months?
Is there any mechanism for checking the status of my visa application?

you have to wait couple of months to get any response from cic. because, the applications received at cic in the last week of may 2013 are now getting response.

But I have positive LMO.
I didn't apply in the category 1, i applied in category 2.
Should't category 2 applications have priorities?
Didn't they send e-mail explaining that they received the application and they are processing it.
