Simona Chiose is a news reporter from Globe and Mail.

I sent her an email and received response in 5min. She is very responsible.

I even had a phone call with her to give her a detail information.

She asked me to take a photo of me in the future, and I said OK.

She also mentioned that she is collecting more information from many cases right now.

She needs more people.

Please send her email.

Even if you don't get response, She reads every email from you guys.
She will get back to you if further information is needed,

email address is:

Don't worry. If you sent before me, I'm pretty sure she already read yours.
She is working on this case.

She's already done the story ?!

email sent yesterday

I am sorry but this article sounds way too much linked to the irish community and doesn't really highlight many generic scenarios.

For example, there are people who cannot get working holiday visas so they have to go through channels such as mine i.e. who have been here in canada since 2007 (undergrad studies, internships, 2yrs+ work experience) and still don't get a sniff from CIC for PR update.

That is 8 years+ of my time invested in Canada only to be left with a uncertain future. I am considering transferring to US via L1B and getting green card there. As much as I like the people here in Canada, the immigration department is one of the worst I have seen.

P.S. I was referring to this article: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/stalled-immigration-applications-leaving-skilled-workers-in-limbo/article27054645/

I sent her the email yesterday and got this reply from her today -

Thanks for your note. I will be following the story and continuing to ask CIC and the new government the cause of the delays, when they will be resolved and whether there will be any change to immigration policies for international students and skilled workers. If I have any questions about your situation, I’ll be in touch.

All the best,
Simona
