Self employment registration in Quebec, help

Hello, I am a new resident in Canada, QB. I want to open a self employment, the most simple possible, I will make under 30K per year. I already have a customer (outside Canada) that I will bill monthly.

My question is, what exactly should I do regarding the paperwork? Is it true that I don't have to register my business, I can simply create invoices for my customer and complete the tax papers next year? There are no rules regarding the invoices, what elements should they contain, I don't need a specific name, a license, nothing?

I will work in an IT related area, but I don't understand what steps should I take before starting invoicing my customer. Please help me

If you make under 30K per year, you do not need to register for sale taxes.
To your situation,
You should have invoices as backup documents, and for clients to claim their expenses.
A simplify invoice should be your Full name, address, phone, date, summary of works.
