self employment documentation

helping a friend.
Applying under FSW-2014. In my career, my last 3 years I am self employed and run my own company. Initial year was pretty low and then things picked up.

So how do i go about documenting this. also i am from india.

I would like to network with similar members. Pls guide.

I found this, it is not a lot of info, but something to start.

"Note: Self-employed individuals must provide documentation from 3rd party individual(s) indicating the service provided along with payment details. Self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable evidence of work experience."
