Self-employement evidence

I have some self-employed job history before I moved to Canada. I have included that in my EE profile. But I have not documents for proving this period because it's way back in the days. I am wondering if there is anyone with similar situation who has been asked to provide proof for self-employed job history. I am thinking of taking this off my profile because it doesn't really have much effect on my score and it may cause trouble.

Anyone with self-employed job history? Were you asked for proof?

not me but i heard of people needing to supply the corporation documents, proof of work contracts carried out, taxes, statements from old customers etc

I have worked self-employed but when I read about what CIC needs as proof, I removed that experience from my EE profile because there is no way I can get all that information.

But then again, I wasn't dependent on the points from that phase in my life. If I had been I would have tried to gather the necessary documentation.
