Checklist point 21 states:
Include 2 self-addressed mailing labels:
-one in English or French
-One in the official language of your country of residence

Can I give my friend's address, who lives in Canada? I have given her name in the Use of a representative form. But can i give my name and her (canada ) address on the mailing labels?

What ever address you give will be used for communication by CIC. If you have authorized a representative, the correspondence will be through that person.

Thanks Wilson.
So, that means I can write my friends address in Canada on the self addressed mailing labels( As she is also my representative. )
Correct?

"can i give my name and her (canada ) address on the mailing labels"?

Yes you can do. Notify her that you gave her mail box address with your name.

What exactly do they mean by "self-addressed mailing labels" and where can I get them?

I bought plain/blank labels from a stationery shop. Am I supposed to get prepaid labels/envelopes instead? If so, where?

Thanks!

You can buy blank adhesive address labels from a stationery or office supply retail shop. Type or print your address on that labels. CIC will affix that labels on an envelope for sending letter to you.

Just called CIC and they said plain/blank labels are fine, i.e. they don't have to be prepaid envelopes.
