Seeking for Suggestion to Apply under CEC

Hello ,

I worked in Alberta as temporary foreign worker from June 30th 2010 to April 20 2012 . I left job on 20th April 2013 and residing in India

Now i would like apply PR under CEC , am i eligible for the same ?
I noticed eligibility in cic.gc.ca i.e at least 12 months of full-time (or an equal amount in part-time) skilled work experience in Canada in the three years before you apply

just want to understand Is there any condition if the person applying from outside of Canada now ?
like person should apply with in year from the day of last working in Canada .
I noticed this condition some time back but not now

You can still apply bro.

Just make sure you have your documents in place.

you will have to send them your lmo copy, visa pages, t4 form for both years and your sin information with your application.

it will be approved.

The 1 year rule was before 1st Jan. the new rule us exactly the same as you have known, i.e. 1 year exp within 3 years before applying regardless where you are. So, yes, even if you are not in Canada, you can still apply. Check Help centre, there is a FAQ explaining this clearly. Search by 'Home country'.

To be clear, assuming you worked in CA from Jun 2010 to Apr 2013 and you are going to apply by Mar 2014, you would have to have exp between Apr 2011 to Mar 2014, therefore, any skilled exp you gained during this period will count for CEC.

Hi All,

Thank you very much for your suggestions . i will start process now itself .

I have some questions regarding PCC from India . In India people are asking for letter from canada to issue PCC certificate .

but i have PCC certificate of one year old , Is this helpful time being ?
