I’m planning to move to Canada and would appreciate guidance on entering the Canadian job market. I have several years of experience in retail banking and finance, but I’m unsure how employers view foreign experience.

I’m especially interested in Banking Jobs and would like to know the best resources for newcomers, including job portals, networking strategies, or certification requirements. Are there banks or financial institutions more open to hiring immigrants without Canadian experience?

Any advice from members who have successfully found jobs in this field would be very helpful.

In the other post, you said "have several years of accounting work (financial accounting and bookkeeping)". Are they both correct?
