No, for me it was optional to go to regular army or civilian service I choose civilian working and helping disable persons for one organization.
I dint not work for Government I'm Architect.
this thing is taking to long for me and have huge impact on my life.

Biometrics, Info sharing, Criminality, and medical are all done. (Based on GCMS Notes)
CBSA received and has been in progress since September 2024. (Based on GCMS Notes)
No update since then.

Overall application, as of today, more than 19 months. Should I apply for the Mandamus?

Yes, if you have money for lawyer why not. Even that will take couple of months.

Im in Ss since august 2024 and i Never recived any ghost update, but last June I wrote to IRCC using a webform, forcing them to give me a final decision. A week later, I received a ghost update, and three week before yesterday, I received another ghost update.A little information: I and my wife are on SS because of visa refusals in the USA., what does meanen the 2 ghost update please

I emailed Abramovich immigration Law and they told me to wait till 18 months. You can google it and see their reviews. Lot of people got approval in mandamus for security delays. Email them and they can give you 15 min consultation for free for prospective mandamus clients.

From AOR. She is in Canada on visitor visa. We have applied sowp in June 2025 and waiting. Super stressful. We are broken. Her carrier is in danger now. She is now jobless for over a year.
