Best of luck, you can request CSIS and CBSA notes from time to time, it's free and can give you some information about the progress.

CSIS did not send notes since Nov 2024. I searched in this website, nobody received CSIS notes since Nov 2024.

I ordered CSIS notes on Dec 2024 and March 2025 two times, but no response.

You can write to the ATIP coordinator for CSIS to note that you've not received and ask that they expedite. Copy your MP's office. You can look elsewhere for ombudsman.

There are a lot of groups of those who are waiting, 8 months is at least, some guys are waiting for 2-3 years. Don't want to scare you off, just a heads-up.

I've been on Comprehensive security check since April 2022 ...still waiting. Never worked in the military or government, never a troublemaker. I've been anxious for a long time and now I'm just relaxed waiting for them to finish digging up for diamonds in a coal mine. They will never find something that is non existent. So once they decide that they can trust that I'm super clean they'll proceed with the approvals.

Hello I'm sorry to hear that have you thought about mandamus? 3 years is an awful amount of time, CBSA might have finished their check and the ball could be on IRCCs court now

ORder gcms notes, inquire through MP's office, and at three years, you might consider mandamus.

I had an update on my tracker on monday, so I called IRCC to check what’s going on. The agent said my file was moved from Sydney office to my local visa office.

Not sure what to make of it, has anyone else had their secondary visa office switch like that during security screening?

I ordered GCMS notes right after to see if it shows anything, but would love to hear if others had the same and what it ended up meaning for you.

As far as I'm aware, all files transfer to some other office after Sydney - or at least not at all unusual. Sydney just does the initial reception and check/initial review.
