Security Clearance?

What does in-house security clearance means? Please help.. Thank you

From my understanding, it is like a background check that they do. They do three separate ones with three different agencies. in-house means that they are the ones who request it not you. Each one has an expiry date and it all must be valid at the time of the decision. So they can request it more than once to keep it updated.

You just sit and wait for the results to be added to your file and the officer can review the clearances and the rest of your application to make a decision.
