Hi All

Is it mandatory to land in the same city that is mentioned (by the applicant) in section 20 of the main form.

If I mention to live in Vancouver but then I decided to land in Edmonton. Is this allowable?

Looking forward to the reply.

Regards

I typed in "LANDING CITY" in the search box at the top right of the forum page and found an excellent thread by Qorax. Hope this helps.

After you land, you can move to any city in any province you choose. You do not necessarily have to settle in whatever city you wrote in your application.

If a person's intended destination is Alberta, he can land anywhere except Quebec without problem. That's ok. My question is, after completing the landing in Alberta; can this person go and settle in Montreal? What problems would he face? Or is that totally acceptable? Does he need to obtain a CSQ? If so what is the procedure for that?

As long it is not PNP. There is no restrictions under the federal stream.
