This can happen to anybody! As long as CIC not happy with your application, they'll put you in 2nd review without letting you know the reason and make you wait for 1 year or more just for renewing a PR card!

AJK_9, I called CIC 2 days ago the agent said my card has been sent for production. However when I check eCAS there's no update yet. Hopefully I can receive my card soon...

My application was submitted Early June of 2015 and got a notice of secondary review in November. Called CIC a few times in the past three months and nothing informative from the call centre.

Timeline..

Cic received the application in early November 2014
Secondary review in late February 2015
Urgent Processing request in mid October 2015
No updates after that. Has contacted CIC through phone and email.

Became PR in 2009 and living here in Canada till today. Don't know about 2mrw because of all this mess
Has traveled outside only twice in this time frame and that too for only 137 days.Don't have much exit/entry in passport for CIC to be confused to delay my application. My little daughter is a born Canadian now and I am afraid whether they want me to leave the country to get us separated.Lets C.

Can i know if you have applied for an urgent process as a new application or you just sent a travel proof (ticket) to be added to your original application which was sent to second review.
