Second course selection based on IELTS ? Canada

After completing 1 year of certificate program form ABC college, and then if I want to take another course from xyz college. On what basis will I get admission ( IELTS Basis or previous academic ). How safe is this to do? To complete 2 years of study in Canada?

Once you’ve completed a certification program in Canada, I don’t think you need to give ielts examination one more to get admission into any other program or college as you already completed a course in a Canadian college where medium of communication is English! My friend is going to do this exact same thing so you might be fine ig but hey don’t quote me on this. Maybe ask an agent

I mean ,currently I choosing 5.5 college
IELTS score is 6.5 overall and 5.5 writing so in second score will I be able to apply in top college? Considering I have good academic

Nope, ielts score matter when choosing a college so 5.5 in one band would not suffice while applying in a good college but hey there are a ton of colleges in Canada so apply where you can!

I am asking after I complete one year course for 5.5. acceptable colleges , then for second year can I choose other colleges which accepts min 6 ? Then IELTS won't be considered I guess they will look my last qualification

I’m not sure about that as I think they would look at your previous qualifications i.e ielts score which helped you get admission in that first course. So you might not be able to get admission into those colleges or otherwise people can just complete a one year course in some random college and then apply to a prominent uni in Canada which is absurd lmao
