I got my reply last week but they took like 3 weeks to reply!!

I guess 120 days is a deadline to send your full application and once it is received by their offices the deadline gets over? Not sure though?

Hi Chouhans,
That is correct. As soon as you send your full docs the 120-day deadline is over.
The question is without the AOR how can you be sure that your docs have been delivered safe and sound and are put in the queue?
By the way, have you received your new file number?
Regards,

Not yet Arashtdil.. not yet... second file did not come yet.

All I have got is DHL confirmation that the full docs were delivered to London CIC and not acknowledgement yet from them!

DHL, FedEx, UPS, TNT are the couriers that never make mistakes.
They might but I havent heard ever.

All of you who havent got their AOR from their CHC's, dont worry, I hipe you all have used reknowned couriers from the above names. if they have given you a delivered copy, then BE ASSURED that your docs have reached your CHC and you will get your AOR.

Middle easters applicants are nowadays in strict scrutiny and I am sure they are screening applicants while sending 2nd AOR's.

But still if middle easterners have got good record then no prob, you'll get your 2nd AOR.
Rest, just wait and pray, else shoot a case spec inquiry and wait for the reply.

As soon as they receive the documents.

Hi frens

AOR or ecas updated?

My intension is not to give u any stress, however wanna put things black and white in front of u.....

I had also not recd my 2 Aor for more than almost 2 months.. Finally I wrote mail to ND CHC... after almost two weeks they replied with my 2 AOR on mail.....

It happended quite frequent these days that 2 AOR lost in transit because it is a local post ( No registry or courier).....

Advice you to write mail and come out of this 3. unnecessary stress... File no. would not decide ur application is approved or not.. It could assign to all files.. mostly applicant file approval determine when status change to in process...

I hope above explaination help u..... (Long way to go buddy) .. don't get tensed at this point of time... ;)

Hi AryandestinyCanada,
Thanks for your guidelines.
I am wondering whether such delay in receiving the file number would affect the processing time of our applications?
Do you know on what basis the documents would be queued for processing?
Best regards,

Guys - Any news or update ?

No, ntng happened even this week

I think london office is the slowest of all CHC's now a days

I am so tired of logging in CIC ONLINE service website and bored of looking at same status again n again....

It is such a blind process... You just don't know what's going on! :-\

Agree with you entirely. Thats how I have been feeling since 29 March 2010. My e-mail to Buffalo Consulate also failed to elicit a reply (except auto-reply). 3 Months since they received my documents and no AOR yet...

any one got news from london visa office?
