Haven't heard of any PPR in the last two weeks. Probably IRCC planning for release of bulk PPR soon and in the meantime VFS webform system for the passport request might also get deployed. This is just my theory

Does anyone here have any information from your consultant/ agent or any other sources, on why is IRCC ignoring applications filled in September 2020 for the Winter 2021 intake, and instead processing applications filled in November/ December?

49 days since biometrics ...SDS process has gone to another level. There has to be a reason for such delays. Are people who applied before September getting their PPR's?

it is because files of July and august for winter intake have not been processed yet.
But if you check other threads on this forum, you’ll see people who applied in late October, November and even December applicants are getting PPRs yet there’s nothing for those who applied in September

also all sds files are being processed in Canada, so all files from the world came to Canada and due to lockdown and remote working there is a huge backlog. Non sds files go to the visa office nearest to the applicant, where the amount of applications is less hence the backlog is over and files are being processed quickly.

Someone in this forum told me recently that due to the huge backlog , they are not processing SDS files ONLY in canada.
