Hi All,
Going to do my landing shortly in Toronto. I wired funds to scotia bank and received the 'Investment Directions' letter from them recently. However, it is neither signed nor stamped. CIC website states that anything that can be used as proof of funds must be signed and stamped by the bank.
Upon inquiring with scotia, they tell me to get the wire transfer instructions with the details of wire transfer done to scotia from the local home country bank, get that signed and stamped from home country bank and CIC should accept that. Anyone has experience with this? Will this stamped wire transfer instructions from local bank combined with unsigned 'Investment Directions' letter from scotia work as proof of funds?
Regards,
Manthan.
