To all guys who will be applying from now on....
First please read this article as to what SWIFT BIC code truly represents from here

https://www.bank-codes.com/bank-of-nova-scotia-swift-code-NOSCCATTXXX-bic-code

Then lookup for all info using your destination banks swift here.

You might find all you need.

And if you got a mail stating this as your bank info :

THE BANK OF NOVA SCOTIA
BNS 35972 SSG Transaction Processing
4715 Tahoe Blvd
Mississauga, Ontario, L4W 0B4
SWIFT Code: NOSCCATTCOL

Then
Transit no- 35972
Routing No- 026002532 will work.

Hope this helps.

Today I have paid my GIC
but I have not mentioned "SSGP" in the Remittance field
I forgot to mention this abbreviation
And transit number also I did not mention
Because the mail that I received from scotia bank
It had no transit number mentioned.
M scared
Guide me please
Will my gic get rejected?

When u did the wire transfer to Scotia. Did you mention the transit number? Because the mail that I have received from Scotia has no transit number in it
