As an acca affiliate myself, what I have understood is that Canada CPA doesn't recognise acca and therefore making it useless in Canada.

I am also acca if you want to move to canada it is vital that you apply for cga as soon as possible before the merger is completed under the mra so that you will have a Canadian qualification make sure you have a degree though otherwise they won't accept your application.

I am thinking of pursuing CPA Canada, my situation is as follows.

1) I have competed all ACCA papers i.e. an ACCA affiliate but NOT a member. (As practical experience requirement is missing)

2) I also have my B.Com from India.

3) I also have completed Masters in Inlt. Accounting from Anglia Ruskin university from UK.

I want to apply for CPA evaluation and want to find out...

1) what sort of exemption am I likely to get ? Please share your experience

Hi All I am FCCA and my permanent resident visa (Quebec Route) is in process at the federal stage. But CGA Quebec is not part of the MRA; and besides I do not intend to spend my life there with my family; due French. I wish to apply for CGA in a different province soon since MRA expires in 2016.please advice
