Scholarship-paid work count toward work experience?

Hello friends,

I am in the process of figuring out whether or not I am elegible for the skilled immigrant program (express entry). I have worked full time in a lab since May 2016 in a class A NOC. However, some of that time, (May - Aug 2016) was paid through a scholarship. I was still under a study permit at the time but no longer a student, I was transitioning to my post-graduate work permit.

I would appreciate any help. Thank you
