Hello everyone

I am still in the process of preparation for my sponsorship application. As a PhD student, my income is split into 11 K taxable income from my part time work in the university, and 30K as non-taxable income from a scholarship. This has been the case for 3 years, and appears on my CRA documents, but the scholarship is just stated as other income. Would that be sufficient to satisfy the requirements of income to sponsor my spouse?

thanks!

there are no income requirements for sponsoring a spouse, so it will not matter how your income appears on your CRA document.

Thanks very much. I just noticed that which came as a relief! +1
