Scholarship and future immigration plan

Hey guys,

I'm going to apply for a scholarship. I'm currenly an international student.
I ve heard somewhere that if you got a scholarship you cannot apply for PR then.
I tried to search this information but could not find no proof.
I personally believe that this is not true but I want to check.

Depending on the kind of scholarship you could be ineligible for Post-Graduation Open Work Permit. What scholarship do you have in mind?

Agreed. Some scholarships make you ineligible for a PGWP. Is it a scholarship through your school in Canada or from another source?
