Hi,
one of my friends applied for extension visitor visa but unfortunately only 23 days before his Visa expired!

30.06.2015 visitor visa expires
07.06.2015 applied for Extension

what will happen if he would stay until CIC made a decision .. like longer than the visitor visa is for?
Or is it better to leave before the 30th of June?

any experience? od Advices?
Thank you so much! he is so worried?

:)

The 30 days is just a guideline. You have implied status.

A temporary resident must apply to extend their period of authorized stay before it ends. If they have done so, their period of authorized stay as a temporary resident is extended by law until a decision is made [R183(5)]. Such a person is considered to have implied status as a temporary resident during that period.
