Scarborough -DM-Oath

if your prediction serves well, i think i can go on and book tickets for my India trip in June. i am gone for 4 weeks. i am holding on to the ticket booking just to see if i can get a better idea on when i can get the invite. i am a september applicant (sept 27), so based on what you predict, it looks like it will be beyond June for sure.

Yeah if the assumption holds, then it should be sometime June. But I have a feeling that Scarborough will clear all pre C6 candidates before they allow summer. During Summer work days, may be less ceremonies will be held and they don’t want to keep applicants on hold as the flood gate of post C6 applicants are in the line.

If what they did for the month of March 2nd and 3rd week to clear the clogged situation, then definitely it should be earlier for all of us

Btw, did Scarborough got a full time judge now??

Maybe they don’t have a full time Judge as yet other wise they will have much more Oath Ceremony schedule.Its a shame because Scarborough seems to pick up lots of applicants all over GTA.There was also some one last month who fly all the way from Vancouver for test.

i dont want it to be in June as i am gone for the whole month. before or after June is fine.

Considering the number of applicants taking the test here, Scarborough should have a full time judge and many more ceremonies. they are just taking advantage of the 12 month processing time .. when i took the test, thats what they told me in the interview. current processing time is 12 months, so you can expect your oath ceremony to be anywhere from now to September.

It looks there were 25 ceremonies during March in Scarbrough, which is an approximately same number as Mississauga
If we assume in each ceremony they invite 100 applicants, it means about 2500 per month.
The question is: why do they transfer applications from Mississauga to Scarbrough??? like me?
By logic.. the have to transfer in the oppisite direction.

At the end of my interview, the officer said to me " you will receive oath invitation" then she added the name of city and time frame of receiving that. To me that means, she already made the decision. I saw her checking / ticking off certain boxes in her paper after asking me about job, travel outside ....all of the boxes she checked them same under each other. Around 5 lines/ questions.

This is usual. I had a similar experience. But after the test/ interview, there was no updates to the eCAS, everyone else seemed to be getting the status update to DM, the next day or within a couple of days of interview...My eCAS updated with DM just 2 weeks before the date of the oath.

I had requested an ATIP and found that the decision was made on the date of the test/ interview... but no eCAS update, the oath was about 2 months (7 weeks) after, well within the timeline I was told at the interview...
