No updates on my application, it stills:

Application sent on January 2011
Acknowledge letter received on February 2011
Start processing file on November 2011
File transfered to Scarborough January 2012
Test on May 2012
Oath ceremony: still waiting : :

dear Scarborough applicants,

today i checked my online status and I am happy to tell you that my oath ceremony is scheduled for August 2012.(Test was held on May 2012)

Total process time from receiving application till oath is 19 months (January 2011 to August 2012)

Hi Shan2008,

My test was on 17th May, but I think this has nothing to do with date of oath as some applicants may have their oath ceremony before others who did test before them... according to my experience CIC offices are trying not to let total process time exceeding the "19 months" if there is no hindrances... so may be my file had priority as it was received in January 2011 (19 months ago)

Today 17th august 2012 my citizenship status updated & I have received my Oath letter also.I am scheduled for Oath on 14th september 2012.thnx to God my waiting time is over & I am soo happy.

I applied mine in october 2011, still waiting for the test date. based on your timeline, hopefully i will get test notice next month. but i heard barrie CIC office was closed in July and all the applications over there were moved to scarborough office. there might be some further delays. but anyway, once again congratulate you on your success of your citizenship application.

i applied for Citizenship and would like to know if anyone remember how many questions are there for the test and if you can post some of the questions that would be a great help.

It's total 20 questions, you must get 15 in order to pass the test otherwise fail and go and see the judge .

suin, it is the CIC office nearest your home to process your application. but you have to send the application first to sydney, NS, and they will transfer your file to the local office.
