Hi all,

We have started with the process of obtaining the PCC. Got the letter from VFS n got it translated to Arabic. Took the same to MOFA but they ask for the Arabic translation to be attested by the embassy too. We have tried many times but MOFA refuses to attest the letter without the Arabic translation being attested too.
Have all of you got the translation attested too? Kindly help.

Looking to connect with anyone who has recently received their visa and planning to travel/land in Canada in the next few months from KSA.

MOFA-Riyadh did not tell me to get the Arabic translation letter attested from embassy.

They simply saw the letter and its Arabic translation, took 30 riyals from me and attested the letter immediately.

Thanks Rawdah. Maybe they have a different rule here in Dammam as we tried going to MOFA thrice.

What VFS have to do in PCC. Letter for PCC must be from Canada Embassy Riyadh. This letter must be with orginal stamp and its already come in Arabic. All you need to do to fill up your information like passport number and names. More Letter is on the name of MOFA.
you have to take that letter to MOFA they will attest after seeing your iqama
Than you have to go to central Dammam Police station for finger prints they will take 3-4 days after finger prints

It would be best to go to cic websites and find out details. Everything is given in detail and still if you need some help people here will gladly help you. You may send me an email and i would be glad to help you over phone. Btw. Where in KSA are you residing?

I have applied for Canadian immigration and waiting for medicals. I am based in Pakistan Now I got a job offer from Saudi Arabia. my questions are:

1- If i go to Saudi Arabia, will my employer release me if i get canada visa in let's say 6 months?
2- as in KSA, employer hold the passport, will I need passport for the medicals in KSA?
3- Is there any chance employer will refuse to return my passport when i need to send it for visa stamp?

your quick response will be highly appreciated.

my advice to you, don't get the job. wait your meds and visa comes fast, it doesn't deserve

it surely depends on your employer and standard they maintain, for example, in saudia most co. are run by expats(all top positions) the owner is saudi only, if the owner and all your bosses in your co. are educated enough then you should not have any idea to collect your passport at any time given solid reason, for example, if you are coming to a engineering co. where 90% ppls are working obviously engineers then you should not have any problem, but if you are co. to a construction or marking or anything else then you will find average qualified colleagues and bosses, so things might be difficult to explaining to them, so be care choose before coming to any co. in ksa, and most of all, if you have lets say, 6-12 months from getting mr and visa, then why choose to venture at this time? what ever the reason is, be careful about the standard of the co. get info. about your co. not by phone, ask your friends/relatives to visit the co. and let you know exactly what they see.

Quebec skilled Worker application bank draft is NOT written payable to Receiver General(this is for FSW or other businesses with Canadian government or immigration.
